DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is to assist in leading and managing the reception staff and area. He/she will help in the recruitment and training of leading professionals. He/she will ensure that the highest standards of service are maintained. He/she will specifically be responsible for the reservation template, seating, guest greeting and hostesses. He/she will develop new ideas with the goal of increasing the levels of revenue and profitability and increasing the quality of service in Scarpetta.

1Assist the Manager in his/her functions
1.Develop reservation standards and policies.
2.Develop a seating strategy
TEAMWORK, SUPPORT, MOTIVATE STAFF, EMPOWER STAFF, CAREER PLANNING
1.Support implementation of revenue generating ideas and initiatives （including promotions and products）.
2.Monitor Staff incentives and report on the progress of these to the Restaurant General Manager.
3.Being a Mentor for the staff under your control.
4.Promote good business relations between the Mercato Brigade and all other departments in Three on the Bund, to lead a team of well-trained and motivated staff.促進同部門和公司其他部門間建 立起一個良好的關系，使我們成為一個專業和積極向上的集體。
5.Guide staff developments, support staff’s decision and justify profile of work.
6.Encourage teamwork through participating in organising activities for the staff.

1.Greet guest at the front door
2.Attend the Food and Beverage Management meetings。
3.Keep communication channel（s） with the Kitchen team open to enable special requests to be met.
4.Solicit feedback from guests at the time of their departure.
5.Log a manager’s report on daily service issues.
1.To be a “Mentor” to all the team in the restaurant and bar.
2.To assist and train staff both as part of the departmental induction process and as an on-going program to achieve desired service standards.
3.To carry out training tasks when required. Ensuring that even if you are not involved directly you are present.
4.To make sure that all staff is informed of what duties they need to perform, and are appropriately trained and briefed to complete those duties.
5.To make sure that rules and guidelines of the company are adhered to.
6.To be aware of and comply with safe working practices as laid down under the Health and Safety Acts as applicable to your place of work. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards at your work place and to be fully conversant with: COSHH Regulations

1.To ensure that any accidents to staff, guests or visitors are reported in accordance with correct procedures.
2.Ensure your own personal hygiene and presentation is of a superior standard and exceeds the company’s requirements.
